5. A Bowtie
If you stick to our list it’s unlikely you’ll wear a tie as you won’t be wearing a suit. We keep building on this notion that opting to dress up too much for a date can backfire.
Wearing a shirt absolutely works, if that’s what you’re comfortable in. Women find shirts sexy, but the shirts that are sexy usually have rolled-up sleeves and a couple of buttons at the top unbuttoned, which leaves no room for a tie or a bowtie.
A bowtie can make you look too dorky, which is not sexy at all, not unless a girl knows you really well already.
A bowtie can also make you look childish instead of masculine. We can keep going with all the things that are wrong with wearing a bowtie on your date, but you probably get the picture.
