12. Government Computer Hackers & Internet Trolls
The Chinese government reportedly employs people to hack systems.
Earlier in 2014, the Chinese government hacked into the United States Postal Service, took enormous amount of private data (phone number, email addresses, bank accounts, etc) from employees and customers.
It is also reported that they once hacked into Google’s computer networks and moved some stuff around.
On the other hand, we have professional trolls who are paid to paint that gray picture called Politics. Namely, the Chinese government employs about 300,000 Internet “commenters” who are paid to post favorable comments about the government. These trolls are called the 50 Cent Army because they make 50 cents for every comment they post.
