Canada and the United States have something in common. Both countries pay people to take care of this coveted trophy.

Awarded to the winner of the NHL’s Stanley Cup Finals, the trophy dates back to 1892 and makes the rounds during the summer with members of triumphant team.

However, since it is quite valuable, both literally and metaphorically, it needs to be accompanied by a professional keeper at all times.
