4. Chick Sexer
Most farms that deal with chickens, as well as large commercial hatcheries, need a professional Chicken Sexer.
His job is to separate female chicks (or hens) destined to lay eggs for commercial sale, from the males, which are irrelevant to egg production.

Basically, these trained professionals get paid to distinguish if a young chick is male or female, and way of doing this is quite bizarre. Long story short, chicken sexers use a method called “venting”, during which our professional chick sexer squeezes the bird until it relieves itself, thus exposing its genitalia.
