Now this is an old-timer we could get behind. The Mortlach 1938 gives off an expensive feel even before you open the bottle, mostly due to its mahogany case and bottle design.

But the price of this fine scotch is not unjustified.

This particular Mortlach, which was released back in 2010, was filled into a cask in Speyside in October 1938, which means it’s one of the oldest whiskeys in the world.

Only 54 units of the 60-year-old Mortlach 1938 were ever produced, making this liquor wanted not only by whiskey-lover, but also rare item collectors.
