7. Ex’s Are Off-Limits

It may be painfully obvious to many, but – believe it or not – there are still some guys out there that need to be reminded that talking about your ex is one of the ways to ensure your date will fail miserably.

Unless you want to talk about each other’s past relationships throughout your whole date, don’t even mention your ex.

Keep it to yourself, and focus on your possible future with your date.

Anecdotes and stories about your past romantic endeavors won’t make her feel closer to you, but will make her think that you’re a clingy guy that doesn’t know when to let go and get over it.
