Nothing else was ever found – no bodies, no other sliced body parts, no clothes.
Only feet in sneakers. DNA tests matched one of the severed feet to a man who’d been missing for several months.
Since the unusual and horrid scenario started playing out, a number of theories have been flying about, including the possibility of foul play. Other rumors speculate that the remains might belong to four unrecovered victims of a 2005 plane crash near Quadra Island.
