6. The Girl Scout Killings
Three young girl scouts, Michelle Guse, Doris Milner, and Lorie Farmer, were killed during their stay at the camp.
The murderer carried the girls’ bodies away from their tent. The sad scene was found by a counselor on the trail on the way to the showers.
The craziest thing about this unsolved crime is that someone broke into a counselor tent two months before the horrendous killing and left a note saying that three children would be murdered. The counselors believed that the note was a prank. No one has ever been charged with the murders.
