7. The Zodiac Killer
The killer, presumably a man, murdered at least five individuals and taunted the police after the tragic attacks.
He also sent a series of three letters to three newspapers that contained details of the murders, and clues that were said to reveal his identity if cracked.
One clue has been cracked, and it begins with “I like killing people because it is so much fun.” The serial killer has never been found, and the unsolved case is still open.
