Your shoes reveal a lot about you – people immediately take notice of them and judge you accordingly in business and personal relationships. Your footwear provides valuable insight into what it’d be like to walk a mile with you.

Sneakers VS. Flip Flops

Rocking a flashy pair of mint condition Air Jordans shows that you’re somewhat into sports, but are also into indie music and probably follow at least two food trucks on Twitter. Also, you likely have some action figures still in their original packaging somewhere in the back of your closet.

Flip flop wearers, on the other hand, don’t have a care in the world. Some of those nonexistent cares are things girls might find important — like doing laundry or sleeping on something other than a futon — but these guys are always able to find a party.

Now That Is Style

Dudes with extremely expensive taste in dress shoes generally have solid wine knowledge and likely still read hard copies of magazines, despite owning a tablet and a backup tablet.

They are also a high-risk population for putting girls in the undesirable position of being less well-dressed than their boyfriend.

Boat shoe wearers take leisure seriously and would be hard-pressed to name just one favorite scotch.

They’ve read at least a handful of the classics, but will also happily crack a dirty joke in the right company.

We know shoes are the last thing everybody puts on, but the next time you’re about to go out on a date, think twice about how you should dress your feet.
