It’s Official – Lamborghini’s First SUV Is Coming
One could easily say that the world of supercars is always full of surprises. One day they’re trying to build the fastest and the most wicked beast on the road, while tomorrow electricity-powered cars might be a thing.
However, Lamborghini has a completely different trick up its sleeve. Instead of keeping up with the competition by building a new, superfast, insane-looking supercar, they’ve decided to go down a different path.
A New Weapon For The Arsenal
CEO of Automobili Lamborghini Stephan Winkelmann wrote a statement at parent company Audi’s website, in which he expresses his enthusiasm about Lambo’s brand new SUV model, which is set to be released in 2018.
He said: “This is a proud moment for everybody in Lamborghini. The introduction of a third model line endorses the stable and sustainable growth of the company and signifies for us the beginning of a new era.”
Something For Everyone
Although everyone’s surprised by this move, it’s not really something we couldn’t expect. Lamborghini’s cars are cool without question, but owning a supercar isn’t exactly appealing to people who live in crowded cities or find this type of cars too restrictive.
According to market analysts, Lambo is trying to attract both supercar-lovers who would like to try something new and people who enjoy their design but simply don’t like the concept of sports cars.
No matter which group you fall into, you can be certain that Lamborghini’s SUV is going to rock our worlds when it comes out in a couple of years.
