As crossover SUVs began increasing in popularity in the American auto market, manufacturers scrambled to design and produce vehicles that matched consumer demand.

The Jeep brand has long been considered one of the toughest in America.

Jeeps gained popularity following the introduction of the manufacturer’s first vehicles for military use in World War II, the Korean War, and Vietnam. Following those wars, these rough riders came stateside.

When Jeep started manufacturing fuel-efficient crossovers, the Jeep Liberty was the initial effort. Aside from the tough Jeep brand associated with the vehicle, there is little that is manly with the Liberty.
