The Jeep brand has long been considered one of the toughest in America.
Jeeps gained popularity following the introduction of the manufacturer’s first vehicles for military use in World War II, the Korean War, and Vietnam. Following those wars, these rough riders came stateside.
When Jeep started manufacturing fuel-efficient crossovers, the Jeep Liberty was the initial effort. Aside from the tough Jeep brand associated with the vehicle, there is little that is manly with the Liberty.
The Jeep Liberty is small, compact, and not particularly worthy of the off road experience that so many Jeep owners prefer. While the Liberty does come with four-wheel drive and other off road features, it is rarely taken off paved streets by drivers because it simply does live up to the toughness people expect from a Jeep.
