1. Longest Fingernails on Both Hands
However, Melvin Booth’s Guinness record is perhaps even more bizarre. This strange man from Troy, Michigan had a combined fingernail length of 29 feet, 8.3 inches (or 9.05 meters).
Before Mel, there was Lee Redmond, a woman who decided to stop cutting her nails back in 1979 and started this weird trend. The total length of her nails was 28 feet, 4.5 inches (8.65 meters), but poor Lee lost her precious record holders in a car accident in February 2009.
Lee was lucky to be the record holder for so long, as with those fingernails, she couldn’t really hold anything else, could she?
